My mood dictates my art. Which memory decided to strike the heartstrings? Which interaction at the mall sparked my inspiration? What stirs deep within my soul, itching to come out?

Do you know what makes art - art? The internet (and the ignorant) would like to assume it's just a visually appealing thing to look at and consume… but from a real artist's perspective, I believe art is the Source of creation expressed through the human consciousness in a form that inspires others to feel, think, and act differently.

People are curious by nature and want to know whether others’ values match their own or differ from them. It’s how we connect and make choices about who we let into our lives. To note, there is a balance between personal preference and ignorant judgment.

So, who am I as an artist? What values do I stand by?

Do you care too much about how others view you? Ruminate on past conversations, interactions, and choices you made, wondering “Could I have presented myself differently?”

It is 2026, and the world is overloaded with wars, division, poverty, and capitalism that is destroying the little man...so why make art?
