What Are My Values?

People are curious by nature and want to know whether others’ values match their own or differ from them. It’s how we connect and make choices about who we let into our lives. To note, there is a balance between personal preference and ignorant judgment.

So, who am I as an artist? What values do I stand by?

I value humanity, connection, creative expression, equality, compassion, protecting the vulnerable, speaking truth, and challenging systems that suppress, control, or abuse the quality of life for the human experience.

To summarize myself, I am an open-minded, emotionally intelligent, critical thinker, equal opportunity, empathetic, fuck AI sort of person. The kind of individual who doesn’t mind questioning reality, stirring complex thoughts, and feeling deeply. It’s how I create my art and how I create understanding of this very inspiring and disheartening world.

As all relationships are two-way streets, I also look for values that align with my own. I have zero tolerance for political extremism on either side, but especially the far-right MAGA, Trump-supporting, and Christian nationalism type. I will say this plainly: you people do not deserve my art.

It should be fairly clear that my values hold a weight of compassion, human integrity, respect, and creative freedom. I will not humor opinions based on division, hate, fear, or blame.

So, if you immediately want to defend yourself, it means I’ve ruffled your ego, and you are not aligned with my values as a person or artist. I highly suggest you support someone else’s art.

Peace Out.
